• Major games released this week were: Mr. Driller Online for the Xbox Live Arcade.

• The PlayStation Store underwent a major overhaul this week, making it much more accessible to navigate. With the opening of the new store, they also added Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for download purchase at the retail price of $39.99. This update was much needed, and was extremely successful at making the store seemless to find the PSN products from.

• Steam, the popular PC game downloader and store, has been adding many major publishers lately, including Epic Games and Atari. But this week, they added Assassin’s Creed creator Ubisoft joined the list of purchasable games on it’s network. Assassin’s Creed and other Ubisoft games will be made for full purchase and download later this week.

• After over a year of waiting, and a lawsuit settlement with Immersion Corporation, Sony has finally released the DualShock 3 controller for the PlayStation 3. Bringing back the famous rumble feature, many games have already added rumble function with the use of a patch. The original Sixaxis controllers have been discontinued from retailers.
